Duquesne University will host the 2014 Atlantic 10 Men's and Women's Cross Country Championships on Saturday, Nov. 1 at Schenley Park in the Oakland section of Pittsburgh.

Duquesne's women's cross country team captured second place of 26 teams in the Gold 5k race at the Notre Dame Invitational. Senior Danica Snyder led the Dukes, finishing 11th of 210 runners with a time of 17:09.8.

In celebrating female student-athlete and discussing women's sports-related topics, the Duquesne athletics department has announced the inaugural Women's In Sports Luncheon series.

Duquesne's women's cross country team finished third of 10 teams at the Spiked Shoe Invitational Saturday morning at Penn State.

Duquesne University sophomore Autumn Greba was named the Atlantic 10 Cross Country Co-Performer of the Week as announced by the conference office.
